Viaje a Espagña — Madrid

The Calle de Toledo in Madrid.
The Plaza Mayor at mid-day. Still quiet!
The Catedral de la Almudena. Construction began in 1879, roughly the same time as the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, but the Almudena is finished.
The Palacio Real (Royal Palace), which dates back to the 1730s.
Not as flashy as Barcelona, Madrid nonetheless has an artistic sensibility. This is the Chamartin Metro station.
